Lima Carbon Fiber Table as its name suggests is a furniture made out of carbon fibe. Unlike most eco-friendly tables, this one has looks and functionaity featuring a minimalist design, that gives you the freedom to use it according to your needs. It’s fully customizable, though it’s kind of discriminating as each tablecosts $3,000. Available in three sizes, and each table takes about 4-6 weeks for production.

Ideum MT55 HD Multitouch Table is a luxe table that is designed for demanding environments like museums, tradeshows and commercial venues. It is a fully integrated system that features a large 55-inch diagonal HD touchscreen wherein the table enjoys a sleek make, with a chassis made from aluminum and cold-rolled steel. The interactive surface is less than 3-inches thick, with tempered glass that guards the screen. The multitouch table’s LED-backlit display boasts a 4,000,000:1 contrast ratio and a wide 178-degree viewing angle.

Sugar Chair, as its name suggests is a chair made out of pure sugar. Created by Pieter Brenner, a Dutch-born, German designer, it is the biggest, most expensive lollipop for your living room.

Sugar chair is made using 60 pounds of confectioner’s sugar, and mind you guys, the production method was quite complicated, because the sugar needs a while to dry, so Brenner had to work with very good sugar specialist. “I just created a place where (the user/consumer) can be creative, so basically he is the designer, not me. The consumer can feel free to do everything he wants to with the form or the sugar. I have just proved an archetype”, Brenner tells Co.Design.

Will this appeal to anyone? I am not so sure, for this edible chair costs a whopping 11k!

Metamorphosis is the most expensive bookshelf ever created here on earth. Designed by Chilean-born designer, Sebastian Errazuriz, who’s known for his uncanny design and art pieces, this bookshelf is an example of a functional artwork! It is inspired by his grandmother’s ivy-covered garden, as this bookshelf similarly runs along the wall to serve as shelves. It is made from limited edition Baltic birch plywood shelf and is hand-carved by the Italian company Horm.
This Metamorphosis bookshelf is set to debut at an exhibition of the artist’s furniture work “beautiful premonitions,” that will be held on April 28th, 2011 at the Cristina Grajales Gallery in New York.
