Family of High Performance Appliances Helps Today’s Enterprises to Defend Against DDoS attacks

Mandaluyong, Philippines – November 27, 2012 - Fortinet®, a world leader in high-performance network security, today introduced the FortiDDoS product family for enterprises, Web hosting and cloud service providers. The new FortiDDoS-100A, FortiDDoS-200A and FortiDDoS-300A are dedicated appliances that are designed to detect and help protect against today’s most damaging and sophisticated DDoS attacks. The appliances feature custom ASICs that are capable of mitigating DDoS attacks while maintaining incredibly-low latency (less than 26 microseconds), preventing loss of availability to critical systems, servers and applications.

“This launch is significant because as systems become more inter connected, the need for greater network protection against targeted DDoS attacks become more pronounced,” said Jeff Castillo, Fortinet’s Country Manager for the Philippines. “This specialized protection ensures customer confidence and decreases the liability of Philippine enterprises in the long term.”

NBA 2K12

NBA 2K12

NBA 2K12 will be out soon, and here’s something to expect on this upcoming basketball simulation from 2K Sports. Based on the photo above, it seems that NBA2K12, will bring back the glory of the 80’s with Larry Bird, and Magic Johnson in the game. Probably with Jordan again, and a couple of game modes. I just hope that they bring back the graphics engine that they used in 2K9, for it was better than 2K10 and 11. By the way, you can pre-order the game over at Amazon, so you’re sure that you’ll get the first copy on its release. $60.
