Blancpain shocked fans of its 50 Fathoms dive watch this year with an all-white version. No thanks. The new Speed Command chronograph makes up for such a travesty. Its 45mm case, with diamond-like coating (DLC), is water-resistant to 300 metres, while its 308-part automatic flyback movement is powered by a five-arm weight of rhodium-plated gold. The “Super-LumiNova” hand tips and carbon dial with yellow numerals based on a sports car dashboard show its appeal to driving-glove types.
