Finally, the chromed Audi R8 has been sold at the 13th edition of Sir Elton John’s White Tie and Tiara Ball event for $400k. The event was held at Elton John’s home along with his partner David Furnish. The car is in a special chrome exterior finish, that is powered by a 5.2 liter engine, that is capable of producing 525 horsepower at 8000 Rpm. Other features include a rear view camera, signature LED headlamps, special six speed manual transmitter, and a Bluetooth seat-belt microphone. Jeremy Hicks, Audi UK’ director said, “Sir Elton John’s fundraising ball really is a golden ticket event that is as glamorous as it is hugely effective in fundraising terms.”

Gibson Guitars has unveiled their new limited-edition guitar called the Sammy Hagar Explorer. Its design is a mix between Sammy’s Red Rocker and Chickenfoot with a body made from solid mahogany wood that is covered with elegant cream binding. It features a “secret ghost” image of the Chickenfoot logo, that’s hand-sprayed using a high gloss nitrocellulose lacquer. It comes with a pair of elegant pickups, a zebra-coil ‘57 Classic, a hardshell case an owner’s manual and a limited lifetime warranty.

Perrelet has unveiled its latest limited edition timepiece called the Perrelet Turbine. It is scheduled to launch in Qatar though they have not informed us of its exact date and pricing information.

The Perrelet Turbine is housed in a 44mm DLC coated stainless steel case that’s shielded by an anti-glare sapphire crystal. It runs on an Automatic P-181 double rotor from Perrelet, with the power reserve of 40 hours. It is water resistant down to 5 ATM, and is limited to 10 pieces only.

Gameloft has unveiled a new range of games that they will release on all mobile platforms before Christmas. Most of the games are already available on Apple iOS while some are just new ones.
