The Transition

The Transition
Flying cars are on its way, for after several years of development, the Transition – Terrafugia’s Flying Car could be available for sale before the end of next year. Terrafugia, a Massachusetts-based flying car company has announced that they are one step closer to putting a road-and-air-going flying car in your driveway. The company also announced that production could begin within three months, and there are plans to hire 50 skilled workers over a period of three years to speed up its production. They are currently building two prototype models of the Transition in the new plant in Woburn. Of course, like any other cars, before this flying car hits the stores it will go through extensive drive testing, and will take to the skies to obtain certification as a light sport aircraft. TBA.

DeWitt Academia Blackstream Chronograph is the brand’s latest addition to their Academia collection. It’s a chronograph watch destined for young, dynamic and sporty men. It features a black velvet face with classical seconds via a counter at 9 o’clock, and another counter at 3 o’clock that will remind you of an eye-catching speedometer of a racing car. As you can see on the photo above, it shows that its dial demonstrates a sunray pattern showing 2 subdials that are joined together by a “radiator-grille” making it look like mechanical components of a car motor. It’s powered by a self-winding mechanical movement - DW6005 with 48-hours of power reserve. It’s housed in 44 mm case that’s crafted in Grade 5 titanium, black PVD and black rubber. The timepiece is water resistant down to 30-meters and is presented on a mat black rubber strap with the brand’s distinguishing “imperial columns” pattern or a mat black Alligator leather strap. The straps are fitted with a triple-blade folding clasp in blackened PVD titanium featuring engraved “W” signature. Limited to 250 units only.
