Mercedes-Benz launches SL Night Edition in addition to their SLK Grand. The SL Night Edition comes in a special black paint job with black nappa leather interior. The monochromatic color combination is offset by such unique touches as arrow-shaped, silver-tone stitching with special steering wheel, shift lever and roof lining to match, along with two-tone 19″ AMG five-spoke alloy wheels. Marc Newson, the renowned Australian industrial designer, has again joined forces with Dom Pérignon this time to design and create a carrying case that acts as a cooler as well. It’s made of a high tech composite the resists wear and tear, and keeps your bottle of Dom P perfectly chilled during travel. Give it a little time here in the States, as it is not yet available. Certainly when it becomes available, those with a taste for the finer things in life will be sure to add the Black Box to their collection. Estimated price will be approximately $285.

Are you one of the 25 people lavish enough to get one of these classy and unique timepieces around your wrist? The watch is the latest version of the Horological Machine Number 2, called the “Sapphire Vision.” The look it gives is obviously unique and gives a look of how the timepiece operates. The sapphire on the HM2 movement is 3.6mm thick, but comprised of three separate plates. MB&F claim that only one sapphire manufacturer was up to the task, as each plate takes up to 55 hours to produce and three out of every four ends up cracking during the drilling process. Its no wonder only 25 are to be made worldwide.
